PRODUCTION
We strive to keep production geographically close, preferable within Europe. Our bags and cases are currently handcrafted in Spain.
The factories we work with focus on sustainability in the environmental and ethical aspects of their work. They hold both environmental and work condition certificates.
Embossing
To get the desired finish of our products we have carefully selected embossments that are in line with the exclusive Attáge style. There are no added chemicals in this process.
We work with a factory located in Spain which specialises in embossing techniques and is compliant with the REACH 1907/2006 regulation.
Production of bags and cases
All Attáge products are handcrafted in Spain.
The factory we use is a family business with 30 years of experience from producing leather goods.
Together with ARTKA studio, we work closely with one of the factory's owners who has 40 years of experience of bag production.
When making our products, the patterns are cut out of the Uppeal™ and MicroLining® in the most optimal way to ensure as little leftover material as possible. All leftover material is handled by the factory according to environmental standards.
We have visited our Spanish partners several times to understand how they work and to witness the high-quality production process that goes into each of our items. We intend to continue our visits on a regular basis.
All our products are handcrafted. Small variations may therefore occur exclusively due to the manual process.
The factory is compliant with the Global Recycled Standard.
